O Santos tem um retrospecto a favor contra o Atlético-MG. O Peixe nunca foi eliminado pelo Galo em mata-matas em toda a história. Em três ocasiões, o Alvinegro passou de fase em 1964, 1983 e 2010.

As eliminações aconteceram em três competições diferentes. No primeiro ano, o Santos passou pelo Atlético-MG nas quartas de final da então Taça Brasil, hoje Campeonato Brasileiro. Dezenove anos depois, já pelo Brasileirão, o Alvinegro tirou o Galo na semifinal.

A mais recente aconteceu nas quartas de final da Copa do Brasil de 2010. Com show de Robinho, Neymar, André e Ganso, o Peixe bateu o time mineiro por 3 a 1 após ter perdido o jogo de ida por 3 a 2. Naquela temporada, o Santos conquistava o título inédito do torneio nacional.

O retrospecto não é dos melhores atuando no Independência. No estádio mineiro, o Santos já jogou 18 vezes, com seis vitórias, três empates e nove derrotas.

O último triunfo do Peixe no Independência aconteceu em 2017. Com outra grande atuação de Vanderlei, o Santos bateu o Galo, por 1 a 0, com gol do lateral-direito Daniel Guedes, hoje emprestado ao Goiás.

O Santos reencontrará pela segunda vez o atacante Ricardo Oliveira desde sua saída, em 2018. Com duas passagens pelo Peixe, o centroavante é o grande sonho do técnico Jorge Sampaoli e da diretoria santista. No entanto, a diretoria do Galo, mesmo com as críticas da torcida, já deixou claro que não pretende negociá-lo.

Atlético-MG e Santos se enfrentam nesta quarta-feira, às 19h15, no Independência, pelo jogo de ida das oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. A partida de volta será disputada no próximo dia 6, às 20h, no Pacaembu.

وقال المصدر لـ بطولات: “حصلنا على الموافقة من مجلس إدارة النادي للمشاركة في البطولة، ولكن لا تتوافر لدينا القيمة المالية المطلوبة للمشاركة حتى اللحظة”.

جدير بالذكر أن الزمالك شارك في النسخة الماضية من البطولة العربية، وخسر النهائي أمام الترجي آنذاك.

Another spinner, Scott Borthwick, accounted for Gardiner but Richie Berrington and Calum MacLeod came together in a resolute third-wicket stand.The scoring rate was still not up to scratch, though, and after a stand of 62 MacLeod was bowled by Ben Stokes for 33, made in 42 balls with three boundaries. Ankeet Chavan may now be in the news for all the wrong reasons but the Mumbai bowler had been steadily progressing over the last five years as a reliable left-arm orthodox spinner and a useful batsman lower down the order.Having started as a middle-order batsman and a spinner on the of Mumbai, Chavan made his debut for Mumbai in the 2008-09 season. Earlier this year, he emerged as Mumbai’s leading spinner during their 40th title triumph. He eclipsed Iqbal Abdulla to emerge as the No. 1 spinner in the side and also played his part in the win, as Mumbai’s highest wicket-taker of the season.The highlight of his career came during a Group A game against Punjab. Playing at the Wankhede Stadium, Chavan single-handedly brought Mumbai back into the game with a nine-wicket haul, after the side had conceded a sizeable first innings lead. Though the match was eventually drawn, his spell of 9 for 23 earned Chavan accolades from Punjab skipper, Harbhajan Singh.Even when he was away from the first-class scene for two years after making his debut, he was more or less a permanent fixture for Mumbai in the domestic one-day and Twenty20 championships. As a result, Chavan, who was a member of the Mumbai Indians’ set-up in the inaugural IPL season, was signed up by Rajasthan Royals in 2011 and was a quiet performer for the franchise over the last three seasons. Exactly two years since his debut in 2011, Chavan was picked up by Delhi Police, hours after representing Royals in his hometown.

Ajit Chandila

Ajit Chandila is a Haryana offspinner who struggled to make his state side but hit the headlines with a hat-trick in the 2012 IPL. In seven years since his Haryana debut, he barely got a handful of games for Haryana and was more active on the club circuit, playing for nondescript clubs like Hari Singh Cricket Academy in Ghaziabad. He is an established name in Delhi cricket circles, and was part of a strong Air India side for several years, and was mentored by former India legspinner Narendra Hirwani.Chandila – another of those left-field successes that Royals seem to routinely throw up – has a relaxed action, doesn’t flight or spin the ball much, but relied on a nagging accuracy to prove effective in the IPL. He used his height well, and had a pause in his delivery stride to gauge what the batsman was attempting.He was picked for eight matches by Royals in the 2013 season, and was only taken for 6.24 runs an over, a better economy-rate than IPL stalwarts like Lasith Malinga and R Ashwin. Amit Singh

A fast bowler, Singh was released by Rajasthan Royals after the 2012 season. He played 23 IPL games for the Royals between 2009-2012. He was also part of the Gujarat Ranji Trophy team in the 2012-13 season, last playing against Saurashtra. Singh, 31, had been in the news for having been reported twice for a suspect action during the 2009 IPL.

Siddharth Trivedi

Siddharth Trivedi made his first-class debut only in the 2002-03 season, and his nippy medium-pace also earned him a slot at the ICC under-19 World Cup in early 2002, where he took nine wickets in seven games. Noticed as one of India’s promising youngsters, he won the Border-Gavaskar Scholarship to train for five weeks at the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy in Australia. On his return to India, he was drafted into the ranks of India B for the 2003 Challenger Trophy. Depois de retornar de empréstimo do Al-Fayha, da Arábia Saudita – onde jogou durante todo o ano de 2018 -, o meio-campista está no CT da Barra Funda realizando um trabalho específico de recondicionamento físico e, nos próximos dias, deve passar a treinar com o restante da delegação são-paulina. Caso haja a necessidade técnica, André Jardine poderá utilizá-lo.

Gomez não estava nos planos da equipe do Morumbi para 2019. Entretanto, como seu empréstimo ao clube saudita foi encerrado e não houve ofertas para o meio-campista, o São Paulo repatriou seu atleta, com quem tem contrato até o meio da próxima temporada. Nos últimos dias, o jogador tem aparecido nos gramados do CT da Barra Funda trabalhando com os preparadores físicos do Tricolor para readquirir sua melhor forma física.

Na atividade da última segunda, jogo-treino contra o Nacional-SP, o argentino foi testado e teve uma boa atuação em seus pouco mais de 15 minutos em campo. A tendência é de que Gomez seja visto com mais frequência entre os jogadores do elenco principal e seja utilizado nos treinamentos. Dependendo de seu desempenho, o jogador, que também pode atuar como volante, pode ser utilizado no Campeonato Paulista. O São Paulo ainda tem cinco vagas para o estadual, que podem ser preenchidas até o dia 1º de março.

Vale lembrar que Gomez atua em uma faixa do campo onde Jardine ainda não encontrou uma unanimidade. Jucilei, Hudson e Liziero têm sido testados na posição de segundo homem do meio de campo, mas, pelo menos neste início de temporada, não é possível dizer que haja um dono absoluto da posição. Sendo assim, o argentino teria espaço no elenco para brigar por uma vaga.

Caso o rendimento do hermano não seja dos melhores, uma outra possibilidade seria uma venda ou até mesmo um novo empréstimo. Aos 29 anos, Gomez ainda tem mercado no futebol sul-americano e poderia se transferir para uma outra equipe. O jogador, no entanto, não recebeu sondagens e tem contrato com o São Paulo até o meio do ano que vem. Caso venha alguma proposta, a diretoria do Tricolor deve analisar o custo-benefício antes de tomar uma decisão.

Ao todo, o meio-campista soma 12 jogos pelo Tricolor do Morumbi e nem um gol sequer. Em sua passagem pelo Al-Fahya, Gomez entrou em campo em 19 oportunidades e marcou um gol pelos sauditas. Sua última partida foi disputada no dia 27 de dezembro, quanto atuou os 90 minutos do jogo contra o Al-Faisaly, pelo campeonato nacional.

أكد منذر الكبير المدير الفني لـ الرجاء المغربي، أن فريقه سيدخل مواجهة الإياب أمام الأهلي بهدف تحقيق الفوز ولا بديل عن ذلك، مُشددًا على أن اللقاء سيكون مختلفًا تمامًا عن ما حدث في ملعب استاد القاهرة.

وكان الأهلي قد فاز على الرجاء بملعب استاد القاهرة بهدفين دون رد، ويحل ضيفًا على الفريق المغربي، غدًا السبت، في إياب ربع نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

وقال منذر الكبير في تصريحات خلال المؤتمر الصحفي قبل اللقاء: “سنواجه الأهلي غدًا بهدف الفوز ولا بديل عن ذلك، من أجل التأهل لدور نصف النهائي”.

وأضاف: “الأهلي تعرض خلال شهر مارس الماضي لهزائم كبيرة، حيث خسر بثلاثية أمام المصري، كما أن شباكه استقبلت خمسة أهداف خارج قواعده (أمام صن داونز).

وشدد منذر الكبير، على أن مواجهة الأهلي ستكون مغايرة تماما لمباراة الذهاب التي خسرها الرجاء بهدفين دون رد بالقاهرة.

واختتم: “الرجاء سيدخل منذ بداية المباراة ضاغطا على الأهلي من أجل تسجيل هدف التقدم، واللاعبون متحمسون جدا وتحدوهم رغبة كبيرة في تحقيق (ريمونتادا) أمام الأهلي خاصة وأن جمهورا رائعا سيكون خلفهم”.

تحدث ماريو مارينكا المدير الفني لمنتخب مالاوي عن الهزيمة الثقيلة التي تعرض لها على يد مصر برباعية نظيفة ضمن منافسات تصفيات كأس أمم إفريقيا 2023.

وقال مارينكا في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة المحور: “لا يُمكنني قول شيء غير أن منتخب مصر فريق رائع وقوي، لقد لعبنا في بداية الشوط الثاني جيدا، ولكن كان لدينا بعض المشاكل”.

وأكمل: “لم نكن في فوج واحد عند السفر، سافرنا على مجموعتين واستغرق الأمر 20 ساعة للسفر ولعبنا مباشرة فلم يكن هناك تدريب ولم يكن هناك تركيز للمباراة”.

وأردف: “هذه المشكلة ظهرت بالأمس ولكن في بعض الأحيان هذا يؤثر على تفكير اللاعبين ولكن هذا ليس بعذر ولكن له تأثيره، وتعرض أحد لاعبينا للإصابة في الدقائق الأولى، واستغرق الأمر وقتا حتى تم استبداله، وبالوقت الذي جهزنا فيه كانت النتيجة أصبحت تشير إلى تقدم مصر بهدف”.

وأشار: “على كل حال، منتخب مصر قوي، وأعتقد أنه أصبح من المتأهلين مع منتخب غينيا، كل منهما يحتاج على الأقل إلى نقطة أخرى وأعتقد أنهما حسما التأهل”.

وأوضح مدرب مالاوي: “أعتقد أن منتخب مصر سيكون جاهزا وقت خوض بطولة كأس أمم أفريقيا وسيكون لديه فرصة لحصد البطولة فبهذا المستوى ومع المدرب الجديد واللاعبين الذين يملكون السرعة اللازمة يبدو منتخب مصر رائعا، ووضعنا في موقف حرج”.

ووصل: “لو نظرنا نحن لعبنا 40 مباراة لم يدخل في مرمانا أكثر من هدفين في مباراة واحدة، وفي معظم المباريات كنا نسجل ولكن اليوم كان الأمر صعبا”.

واختتم: “يُمكنني القول بأن منتخب مصر له مستقبل مشرق، يمكنني القول إن له مستقبل قريب من المنتخب المغربي، فالمنتخب المغربي يلعب بطريقة محاولة الحفاظ على الكرة والتحكم فيها وهذا يستغرق وقتا”.

O atacante Deyverson e o volante Felipe Melo voltaram de Assunção, no Paraguai, um dia depois de se defenderem em audiência na Conmebol das expulsões em jogo contra o Cerro Porteño-PAR. Ambos treinaram normalmente nesta terça-feira, na Academia de Futebol, mas estão fora da viagem a Santiago, no Chile, onde o Palmeiras enfrenta o Colo-Colo, nesta quinta, pelas quartas de final da Libertadores. O Verdão encerrou a preparação no Brasil.

No treino desta manhã, com a maior parte fechada à imprensa, Felipão pôde usar o que tem de melhor na atividade. Antônio Carlos, Bruno Henrique e Borja, que haviam ficado fora do treino de segunda participaram normalmente da atividade de terça. O Verdão tem chegada prevista às 19h50 no Chile.

Enquanto isso, Melo e Deyverson aguardam pelo resultado do julgamento que definirá quantos jogos terão de cumprir de suspensão na Libertadores. O resultado não saiu imediatamente após a audiência no Paraguai. Mesmo assim, há a expectativa de que a pena deve ser branda.
