سلطت صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية الضوء على إصابة لاعب وسط فريق آرسنال، محمد النني، في مباراة اليوم ضد آيندهوفن.

وتلاقى الفريقان في إطار منافسات الجولة السادسة والأخيرة من دور مجموعات دوري أبطال أوروبا، حيث تعادلا بهدف لمثله (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

وشهدت المباراة مشاركة المحترف المصري محمد النني كأساسي رفقة آرسنال، خاصة وأن كتيبة ميكيل أرتيتا ضمنت تأهلها إلى دور الـ16 منذ الجولة الماضية.

ولكن الأمور لم تسر بشكل جيد بالنسبة لـ محمد النني، الذي عانى من الإصابة في الدقيقة 60، واضطر المدرب ميكيل أرتيتا إلى استبداله في الدقيقة 62، ودفع بزميله مارتن أوديجارد.

وحسبما ذكرت صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية، فإن إصابة محمد النني تبدو في أوتار الركبة، مع العلم أن أرتيتا لم يدلِ بأي تصريحات عن ذلك الأمر حتى الآن.

ويترقب منتخب مصر إصابة محمد النني عن كثب، حيث من المتوقع أن يكون اللاعب جزءًا من كتيبة روي فيتوريا التي ستشارك في بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا في كوت ديفوار في يناير القادم.

Maurício Galiotte minimizou o fato de dois funcionários do Palmeiras morarem de aluguel em apartamentos do diretor de futebol Alexandre Mattos. Além de considerar que a atitude não é irregular, o presidente considera que o assunto não é da alçada do clube.

– (O aumento do auxílio-moradia) É um tema tratado no RH e com vários outros departamentos. É validado pelo diretor de RH, pelo diretor administrativo. Aumento de salário, ajuda de moradia, passam por um processo técnico. As coisas no Palmeiras são sérias. Ainda que algumas pessoas esqueçam, a gente não chegou neste patamar sem trabalho, sem seriedade, sem dedicação. Fizemos com muito suor. Este é um assunto que não diz respeito ao Palmeiras – afirmou Galiotte.

– Este tipo de tema não diz respeito à Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras. Eu sou presidente do clube e não vou responder sobre a situação de aluguel. O Alexandre iniciou conosco em 2015, líder da reestruturação do futebol. Em seis anos, conquistou cinco títulos nacionais, reformulou a base, e somos os atuais campeões brasileiros. É bom lembrar as pessoas, porque parece que tem um objetivo maior de destruir aquilo que o Palmeiras construiu e construímos com muito trabalho. É difícil chegar no estágio que chegamos, extremamente complexo, mas chegamos – acrescentou.

Neste sábado, o jornalista Ricardo Perrone revelou no Uol que o auxiliar Andrey Lopes e o preparador de goleiros Oscar Rodriguez são inquilinos de Mattos. Os dois se mudaram em julho, cerca de dois meses depois de receberem um aumento no auxílio-moradia do clube – no caso de Andrey, R$ 5 mil após reajuste, e no de Oscar, R$ 10 mil.

O clube entende que não há irregularidade, pois os dois pediram o aumento em janeiro, junto de outros 14 funcionários. 11 tiveram a alteração no valor autorizada, mas outros cinco foram recusados. O novo valor do auxílio-moradia só passou a valer, contudo, a partir do mês de maio. Defende-se, portanto, que na época do acerto não se sabia que ambos iriam mudar para dois apartamentos do diretor. Cada aluguel é de cerca de R$ 3700.

O processo de aumento no auxílio-moradia ou aumento salarial respeita o seguinte ritual: o gerente de futebol Cícero Souza faz a requisição, Alexandre Mattos ratifica e o passo seguinte é análise do CEO do clube, Cristiano Koehler. A última etapa é passar pelas aprovações de Paulo Buosi, primeiro vice-presidente, e por fim de Galiotte.

– Importante todos terem ciência que as coisas no Palmeiras se resolvem de maneira técnica, a gente tem projeto. Temos processos – justificou o presidente.

Mattos tem contrato até o fim de 2021 com o Palmeiras, quando se encerra a gestão de Maurício Galiotte. O diretor de futebol, contudo, convive com forte pressão, especialmente da Mancha Alviverde, que realiza protestos em todos os jogos pedindo sua demissão. Contra o Botafogo não foi diferente. Só que ao menos até o momento, nem o clube nem o dirigente se mostram dispostos a encerrar a parceria iniciada em 2015 e que rendeu o título da Copa do Brasil de 2015 e dois Brasileiros (2016 e 2018).

Former India spinner Murali Kartik said the ban on Sunil Narine’s offbreaks was a setback and added rushing him back into bowling could be detrimental to Narine and his team Kolkata Knight Riders.”It is already hurting him [Narine] in terms of physical and emotional pain because just to be called or to be put on the suspect [actions] list is a big thing,” Kartik told ESPNcricinfo. “You can see it is hurting. He is not the Narine we have known because his economy rate has gone up and his wicket-taking ability has gone down.”Narine’s economy rate in five matches this season is 7.35, a noticeable increase from the 5.77 he has managed across three previous seasons. In those five matches, Narine has gone wicketless thrice. In 47 previous IPL matches, he had gone wicketless in only 13 matches.”He needs to have very strong people around him,” Kartik said. “People who need to give him the belief that by changing and remodelling his action he can comeback. Craig McMillan knows a little bit about stratospheric one-day performances but, after seeing more than 760 runs scored in 96 overs at The Oval on Friday night, New Zealand’s batting coach was unwilling to predict how much further teams could go.It is more than eight years since McMillan played a key role in New Zealand overhauling totals of 336 and 346 against Australia in consecutive matches – still two of the five highest successful chases in the format. McMillan’s 67-ball hundred in the third ODI was the fastest by a New Zealander until Corey Anderson and Jesse Ryder both breezed past the mark at the start of 2014.That final match in Hamilton in 2007 saw 696 runs scored, albeit within the bijou dimensions of Seddon Park, and was at the time the second-highest match aggregate in history. It has since been pushed down to 10th, with six of the new entries coming in the last two years. Changes to the ODI playing regulations recommended by the ICC cricket committee may shift the balance once again but McMillan’s suggestion that “400 might well be the new 300″ no longer seems outlandish.”I wouldn’t like to put framework on it, I don’t know,” McMillan said when asked about the expansion of batting horizons. “T20 cricket has changed the perception of one-day cricket and what is possible and what’s not. I would think it’s pretty hard to beat 400 against quality opposition but with some of the grounds you play on, where the boundaries aren’t big and you play on good, true surfaces, anything’s possible, really.””These two sides, we’ve got two attacking batting line-ups that are going pretty hard at one another. I think with the pitches we’re going to face in the remaining three matches, 400 might well be the new 300. It’s also T20 cricket coming to the fore, batsmen play with no fear so chasing seven, eight an over is not a big deal anymore.”After two matches in favourable batting conditions, this series is already beginning to resemble a subcontinental run fest, where bowlers are little more than fodder. At Edgbaston, New Zealand took a wicket with the first ball of the match but ended up conceding 408; this time, Steven Finn got through a maiden before the fireworks began. Even with a target off 399 to back them up, New Zealand’s attack only just held out.A couple of winters ago, India and Australia gave it some relentless pongo during a series that looked to have redefined the game – particularly in the wake of the rule changes that brought such attacking cricket at the World Cup. Then, the overall run rate was 6.64 over six matches (one of which was a no result due to rain); currently, England and New Zealand are trading blows at a rate of 7.72 runs per over.New Zealand’s 398 for 5 at The Oval was the second-highest total in their ODI history – and their best against a fellow Test nation – but there was an ominous sense of control about the way the runs came. Of the top four, only Brendon McCullum scored at significantly more than a run a ball in the first 35 overs, with Ross Taylor opening up towards the end for an unbeaten 119 off 96 and Grant Elliott and Luke Ronchi providing further impetus lower down.Underpinning it all was solid partnership-building, with 50-plus scores for each of the first four wickets – their smallest was 45 for the fifth – leaving McMillan very satisfied.”It was a very professional batting effort, to have partnerships all the way through really set the platform for that big total,” McMillan said. “McCullum and Guptill probably set the tone, then the partnership between Kane and Ross set the platform and it allowed guys like Elliott and Ronchi to come in and play their cameos. In many ways it was close to the perfect batting performance.”English conditions could once be relied on to even the contest between batmen and bowlers, even with the white ball, but the absence of swing so far has neutered a strength of both attacks. Another generous batting surface is expected at the Ageas Bowl, a ground on which New Zealand cracked 359 for 3 in 2013. Records may continue to tumble.”It’s been a difficult series for the bowlers so far, I think they’re looking forward to a pitch with a little bit more help at some stage,” McMillan said. “But it is something we need to keep working on, I think we made improvements from Edgbaston. England came very hard at us last night, harder than at Edgbaston but the boys got the job done.”There’s very little help, you usually see with the new balls a little bit of swing. That’s one of the challenges for them at the moment, when the ball doe\sn’t do anything, what’s your gameplan? You have to be able to adjust and be flexible. It’s a continual discussion among the bowling group, with Dimi Mascarenhas as well. I think we’ve seen from the first two games it’s going to be a tough series for the bowlers.”

At Cardiff the Mitchells, Starc and Johnson, were firing the opening shots in an Ashes battle which will be waged for six weeks; at Edgbaston Ryan Sidebottom was collecting match figures of 11-76 as Yorkshire took another stride towards retaining the County Championship.By contrast, unless you were a cricket fan from Blackpool or followed Second XI games closely, you may not have been too sure who Lester was until Monday morning. It was then that he was named in Lancashire’s side to play Essex at Emirates Old Trafford. And by the third evening of the game both Jaik Mickleburgh and Liam Dawson were acquainted with him. For he had castled them both with his swing to give Lancashire a strong sniff of victory in a Division Two game which had been cursed by rain for its first seven sessions.By close of play that sniff had been encouraged by, what for Lancashire followers, had been the delicious aroma of collapse after James Faulkner, a cricketer as well known in Brisbane as Bispham, had removed three key members of Essex’s middle order as the visitors displayed all the carelessness Lancashire’s batsmen had most diligently eschewed.Ravi Bopara edged a flat-footed slash to wicketkeeper Alex Davies; Jesse Ryder’s irresponsible cut found only the safe hands of Arron Lilley at backward point; and Ryan ten Doeschate was lbw on the back foot to his second ball when Faulkner brought one back off the seam. Fellipe Souza, atacante da equipe, comentou que o elenco não se surpreendeu com o bom início na competição:

– Nosso sentimento é de alegria por nosso planejamento estar se concretizando. Entramos nessa competição com o pé direito e jogando de igual pra igual com os nossos adversários, também somos time grande.

O jogador de 20 anos ainda apontou qual caminho o Regatiano deve trilhar para se manter na competição para as fases finais.

– Sabemos das nossas qualidades e vamos explorar isso. Temos que manter o que a gente vem trabalhando para poder avançar nessa competição, estamos felizes com os resultados mas ainda vamos buscar nossos objetivos – completou o jogador.

O CRB volta a campo na próxima terça-feira (12) quando volta a enfrentar o Vitória. A partida acontecerá às 15h (horário de Brasília) no Estádio Rei Pelé, em Alagoas.
