أعلنت رابطة الأندية المحترفة، مواعيد مباريات الزمالك في الدوري المصري “دوري النيل” 2023-2024، في الدور الأول من النسخة الجديدة.

وأقامت رابطة الأندية المصرية المحترفة قرعة الدوري المصري الممتاز يوم الإثنين الماضي الموافق 11 سبتمبر، في ساحة الشعب بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة، بحضور 18 ممثلًا عن الأندية المشاركة.

وكان النادي الأهلي قد حقق لقب بطولة الدوري المصري الممتاز في الموسم الماضي للمرة 43 في تاريخه، بعد غياب عامين.

وتراجع الزمالك إلى المركز الثالث في ترتيب جدول الدوري المصري الموسم الماضي، بعدما نجح في تحقيق اللقب لموسمين متتاليين.

Stirling will become the home of Scottish cricket after an agreement between Cricket Scotland and Stirling council. The development will see a new pavilion and indoor training facility built at New Williamfield, the home of Stirling County Cricket Club, with Cricket Scotland relocating its headquarters from the National Cricket Academy at Ravelston, Edinburgh.It is hoped that the redevelopment of the ground will start later this year, with the intention being to upgrade it to international match standards. Scotland will play the majority of their home international games at the ground, starting with the World T20 qualifiers in the summer of 2015.”This is an exciting year for cricket in Scotland, with the national team qualifying for the 2015 World Cup and more and more people participating in the sport every year,” Keith Oliver, Chairman of Cricket Scotland, said. “We very much look forward to moving into a new world-class centre for cricket in the heart of Scotland, with excellent facilities and an upgraded ground.”The new facility, which will be of one-day international standard, will serve as the perfect training centre for Scotland’s players at all levels and international teams seeking a training base out of their own season. It will provide a world-class facility for players, members of the club, the local cricket community and visitors to watch matches at all levels and to truly engage with our increasingly popular sport.”The hope is that the facility will also form part of Stirling’s planned Sports Village at Forthbank, which is set to be the home of Scotland’s National Centre for Curling.”We’re thrilled at the prospect of welcoming Cricket Scotland to Stirling and very much look forward to progressing this project with them,” said councillor Corrie McChord, convenor of Stirling council’s community planning and regeneration committee, which has given approval to the agreement in principle. “As Scotland’s city for sport, Cricket Scotland couldn’t find a better home.”

“Lamentavelmente, o ocorrido na partida de ontem entre nossa seleção argentina e o Brasil merece uma profunda reflexão que põe em dúvida que se tenham observados os princípios de ética, lealdade e transparência que você (Alejandro Domínguez, presidente da Conmebol) recorrentemente invoca […].Ficou evidente que a Argentina foi prejudicada pela arbitragem encabeçada por Roddy Zambrano durante todo o desenrolar do jogo, e em particular pela não utilização do VAR em duas jogadas concretas que poderiam, sem dúvidas, ter mudado o resultado final. O fato de a designação da arbitragem para esta partida ter sido questionada pela AFA, fundamentalmente pelos antecedentes negativos de Zambrano, amplia o manto de dúvida que gerou sua atuação ontem”, diz um trecho do texto.

O presidente da AFA escreveu ainda que Jair Bolsonaro fez diversas manifestações políticas, que deveriam ter sido coibidas pela organização.

“A imprudência da designação da arbitragem gerou um evitável ambiente prévio ao jogo, agravado pela presença do presidente Jair Bolsonaro no Mineirão, que não passou inadvertida por jogadores, dirigentes e público em geral, já que foram evidentes suas manifestações políticas durante o desenrolar do jogo, não podendo deixar de mencionar que no intervalo deu uma verdadeira volta olímpica no estádio”.

A carta continua com reclamações sobre a organização da Copa América, citando transporte, gramados, preços de ingressos e outros fatores.

“Houve demoras injustificadas no transporte das equipes aos estádios, o que não ocorreu com a seleção local, que sempre chegou pontualmente. […] Estádios com presença de público muito baixa, campos de jogo em muito mau estado e queixas de jogadores sobre organização, segurança e hotelaria põem em dúvida não só o prestígio da Conmebol, mas também o da Copa América”.

O presidente da AFA pede que o brasileiro Wilson Seneme, presidente da Comissão de Arbitragem da Conmebol, dê explicações sobre os lances do Mineirão ou seja afastado do cargo. O texto contesta o trabalho dele na entidade dizendo que há problemas com a arbitragem também em outros torneios, como a Copa Libertadores.

“As polêmicas sobre arbitragem e as designações irregulares têm sido uma constante em outras competições organizadas pela Conmebol, como a Libertadores (serve como exemplo o encontro entre São Paulo e Talleres, em que se viu uma passividade preocupante do árbitro em inúmeras ações violentas dos jogadores da equipe brasileira)”.

Transition. Corporate speak for “not as good as we should be”. The word is enough to make any sports fan glum.Surrey fans have heard it a lot in the past decade. When Chris Adams was appointed coach, he declared that it was “Year Zero”. Five years on and Surrey supporters might feel like little had changed.Despite financial resources unrivaled not just in Division Two but in the whole county game, allowing them to go further than others in developing separate sides for Championship and Twenty20 cricket, Surrey are very likely to spend next season in Division Two, for the fifth time in seven years. It should be the cause of huge embarrassment.For all that, however, optimism is pervading The Oval. And it feels like more than just glib talk.Hampshire are a fine Championship side. They arrived at The Oval top of Division Two, with the depth of batting and bowling talent to suggest that, should they return to the top tier, it need not be fleeting.Yet Surrey had their measure. True, they did not come close to winning: the weather, costing over a day’s play; the pitch, turgid and slow; and the resilience of Hampshire’s batsmen, including Sean Ervine on the final day, amounted to formidable obstacles.But this was another performance to add to the sense that Surrey may have relocated their strut. A dire Championship start – two losses and two draws from their first four game – has given way to a heartening run: four draws and three victories from their last seven matches, which has been allied to vibrant Twenty20 form.Most pleasing for Surrey is the prominence of players nurtured through the club’s youth system. Their penchant for ageing but expensive recruits has at times resembled that of pop-up T20 franchises. Yet much of county cricket’s relevance lies in identifying and nurturing local talent.That may sound quaint, but the reliance on signing players from other counties has lent the club a slightly hollow feel in recent years. It has felt increasingly detached from the area it is meant to represent. A particular nadir was reached in a thrashing in a 40-over game at Chelmsford last year. Surrey’s leading wicket-taker, Matt Dunn, is a product of their youth set-up, as are Tom Curran, Jade Dernbach and Stuart Meaker. The same is true of their three highest-scoring batsmen – Zafar Ansari, Rory Burns and Jason Roy.Roy enjoyed a spectacular few days against Hampshire, following up a 25-ball 63 in the T20 game on Friday night with a run-a-ball 114 in the Championship: it seemed positively restrained by comparison.”I stand up every week and say it’s the best I’ve seen him play. I’ve been saying to everyone listening that England need to be keeping an eye on him,” Surrey’s captain Gary Wilson said. “We’ve seem glimpses of it in the past but now he’s doing it almost every time he comes out to bat.”There is evidently a togetherness about this Surrey side, who Wilson described as “a real pleasure to captain”.”It’s a feather in the cap of the people who’ve brought them through. We’ve got a great youth set-up here and great academy director in Gareth Townsend. It’s great credit to the club and what they’ve done over the last ten years.”But no amount of youthful – or even more middle-aged – vigour could inject life into the pitch. Forty-one overs of skill, meriting more than three wickets, led to Gareth Batty becoming increasingly frustrated by the docile pitch, a feeling that would hardly have been tempered seeing Tillakaratne Dilshan and Vikram Solanki share four lower-order wickets with their offspin. Wilson said “Batty’s going to about two foot shorter at the end of the season”.Ervine also professed himself mystified by the surface, especially given Surrey’s need to win to close the gap on Hampshire and Worcestershire. “They weren’t too happy with the wicket,” Ervine said. “I was very surprised at how flat it was and they were as well, especially with how little it turned.”The upshot is that promotion may prove beyond Surrey this season. But as seasons of transition go, this could be among the more heartening.

A relação com Barroca foi, justamente, uma das razões para que Alan Santos preferisse não sair do Botafogo, apesar de, atualmente, não ser titular. O meia, que utilizou o período de treinos para se fortalecer fisicamente, participa normalmente das atividades conduzidas pelo treinador.

MS Dhoni, after enduring a Test where everything went wrong, didn’t mind pointing that finger. In Ishant Sharma’s absence, the bowlers were flat. Forget 20, they didn’t look like picking up 10 wickets. India’s shoddy slip catching contributed to debutant Pankaj Singh ending up wicketless. The opening partnership is yet to add 50 outside Asia. The middle order got in and fell to soft dismissals. Mooen Ali taking six wickets against accomplished players of spin was the perfect riposte to Ishant’s bouncing out of England’s batsmen at Lord’s.”That’s what international cricket is all about,” Dhoni said. “It was not like we were expecting England to win. We knew they would come back strongly at us, and for us also it was a new challenge to keep the momentum going after the Lord’s win. This Test showed some areas where we have to improve.”To win Test matches, we need to take 20 wickets. But in this particular game we were not able to take even 10 wickets, and that was a setback to a certain extent. I thought our batsmen played the fast bowlers better, but we allowed Moeen to bowl his line and length. There was considerable amount of wear and tear on the pitch that went his way, and there were a lot of close-in fielders too. Dhoni admitted the first two Tests might have taken a lot out of his bowlers. The casualty list included Ishant, who has been ruled out of the Old Trafford Test, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar also looked down on intensity on a pitch that didn’t suit his put-it-there accurate bowling.”I think Bhuvi seemed a bit tired,” Dhoni said. “He came back nicely after that first spell, but I thought he was slightly on the shorter side. He got the right length in the first two Tests, but here he was slightly short. Apart from that I am quite happy with the effort put in by the fast bowlers. It was a different kind of wicket, where you have to hit the surface hard to get some purchase. That’s where I found Pankaj very impressive. He is a tall guy and got a fair amount of bounce and was unlucky not to get a few wickets. Overall I am happy with him.”In the first innings, everyone in India’s top seven, except Shikhar Dhawan, reached 20, but the top-score remained 54. Dhoni was obviously disappointed, but wasn’t too fussed. “It will become a bit [of a] concern once it becomes repetitive,” Dhoni said. “Let’s hope that it doesn’t become a habit. But the good thing is that the batsmen are getting good starts and hopefully they will convert those starts into big innings. Getting starts is more difficult that converting starts.
