Na noite deste sábado, o Brusque derrotou, de virada, o Alvinegro Carioca por 2 a 1, no estádiono Estádio Augusto Bauer, em partida válida pela 12ª rodada da competição. Os visitantes abriram o placar com Diego Gonçalves, mas na etapa final, Thiago Alagoano e Edu garantiram a vitória do time catarinense.

O Brusque volta a campo na próxima quarta-feira, às 16h, diante do Vila Nova, no Estádio Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga. Já o Botafogo recebe o Goiás, às 19h, no Estádio Nilton Santos, na próxima terça-feira. Ambos os compromissos são válidos pela 13ª rodada da Série B.

COMEÇO MORNO

Os primeiros minutos de jogo foram marcados por um duelo pouco movimentado. O Botafogo permitia que o Brusque avançasse e marcava no próprio campo de defesa. A ideia seria sair em contra-ataques, o que o time carioca pouco conseguiu fazer.

O time catarinense, por outro lado, tinha a bola, mas não produzia tanto.A boa chance criada pelo time catarinense saiu aos dez minutos. Da ponta direita, Garcez cruzou para Thiago Alagoano. Mesmo sozinho, o atacante do Brusque cabeceou sem perigo ao gol de Diego Loureiro para tiro de meta.

BOTAFOGO COMEÇA A SE SOLTAR…

Apesar do jogo reativo, o Botafogo, aos poucos, começou a atacar o Brusque. A primeira grande chance veio com Rafael Navarro, que fez jogada individual pela direita, passou pela marcação e bateu forte para a boa defesa do goleiro Zé Carlos. A outra oportunidade surgiu com Rafael Carioca, que teve espaço do meio de campo e bateu firme, mas sem direção.

…E CONSEGUE O GOL

Poucos minutos depois dessas duas chances criadas, o Botafogo conseguiu o gol. Marco Antônio cruzou a bola na cabeça de Rafael Navarro, mas a bola explodiu em Kanu. Mesmo assim, o camisa 99 pegou o rebote e finalizou com força, Diego Gonçalves – meio sem querer – conseguiu o desvio para balançar as redes do Brusque.

O segundo, inclusive, quase saiu com Diego Gonçalves. Chay recebeu no meio, limpou a marcação e abriu para o camisa 11, que vinha em liberdade pelo lado esquerdo do campo de ataque. O atacante ajeitou o corpo e bateu firme, mas Zé Carlos salvou o time catarinense.

BOTAFOGO DESPERDIÇA A CHANCE DE MATAR O JOGO

O Alvinegro Carioca voltou do intervalo desligado. Em determinado momento, o time tinha apenas 25% de posse de bola e uma finalização. No entanto, isso não impediu o Botafogo de construir uma grande chance. Aos 24 minutos, Chay cruzou a bola na cabeça de Rafael Moura, que mesmo sozinho, cabeceou no meio do gol, o que facilitou a vida de Zé Carlos. No rebote, Warley ainda isolou a bola.

QUEM NÃO FAZ, LEVA

Essa máxima do futebol se fez valer em Santa Catarina. Poucos minutos depois da grande chance de ampliar a vantagem, o Botafogo sofreu o empate. Airton cruzou da esquerda para Edu, que cabeceou na trave. Contudo, no rebote, Thiago Alagoano apareceu sozinho e só teve o trabalho de empurrar a bola para o fundo das redes.

E o castigo por não ter matado o jogo não parou por aí. O Brusque conseguiu a virada nos minutos finais da partida. Thiago Alagoano enfiou um ótimo passe para o artilheiro Edu, que sozinho, invadiu a área e bateu cruzado para garantir a vitória do time catarinense. Dessa forma, o Botafogo segue sem ganhar um jogo fora de casa.

Liverpool have reportedly made contact with an £85m-rated star who has been tipped to become a "legend" of the game, with other Premier League clubs also in the mix.

The Reds will have Arne Slot in charge as manager from June 1st, with the Dutchman officially confirmed as Jurgen Klopp's replacement at Anfield on Monday, signing a three-year deal. There are also exit rumours affecting Liverpool, however, and Alexis Mac Allister has been backed to complete a shock summer move to Real Madrid, with the La Liga giants seeing him as a great option to replace Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. The Argentine could leave alongside Mohamed Salah, although the 31-year-old did post on social media on Monday, sending a message to the supporters that suggests he is looking forward to next season.

Liverpool in talks for £85m-rated future "legend"

According to a new update from Caught Offside, Liverpool have held talks over Benfica centre-back Antonio Silva, who has an £85m release clause.

The report states that "Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all had some contact" over the potential signing of the 20-year-old who is "prioritising a move to the Premier League". There is also believed to be "interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain", though. Silva has been linked with the Reds in recent times, with one update even claiming that they are looking to hijack Manchester United's move for him.

Centre-back is an understandable point of focus for Liverpool this summer, given Matip's exit and the fact that there are concerns about Ibrahima Konate being able to remain injury-free for long periods.

In Silva, the Reds could have a wonderful long-term option, with the Portuguese still only 20 but already a key man for Benfica, making 46 appearances this season, in all competitions. He also appeared once for Portugal at the 2022 World Cup, and former Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has said of him:

"At the beginning of the season he started playing with Morato, who is a very good player, but then, because of the injuries they had to put the kid Antonio Silva, but the boy will be a legend. If he keeps doing what he’s been doing, he has everything to be one of the best defenders in the world in a year or two."

Andrew Miller28-Jul-2020Jason Holder has called on the ECB to show their gratitude to his West Indies team by scheduling a reciprocal tour of the Caribbean later this year, after warning that the dire finances of what he termed Test cricket’s “smaller countries” may not survive the bio-secure requirements of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.Speaking in the aftermath of England’s 269-run victory in the third and final Test at Emirates Old Trafford, Holder conceded that mental fatigue had been a significant factor in his team’s failure to build on their four-wicket win at the Ageas Bowl earlier this month, adding that the routine of “opening your curtains and just seeing the cricket ground” had proven difficult for his players when trying to rouse themselves for the rigours of Test cricket.However, he also acknowledged that there could have been no other way for the series to take place in the current circumstances, pointing out that only England, India and Australia – the so-called “Big Three” Test nations – have enough financial clout to stage international cricket in the midst of a global lockdown.”If something doesn’t happen soon we’ll see less international cricket being played by smaller countries because we simply can’t afford it,” Holder said. “We’ve gone from having four, five-match series, down to two and three. And it’s very difficult to host any more than that for us, particularly the Caribbean.”So yeah, it is a serious dilemma that we’re faced with. I think the relevant personnel really need to sit down and have a look at it.”Despite their series loss, West Indies will return to the Caribbean with the ECB’s lasting gratitude, after their players agreed – with just three exceptions – to travel to a country with one of the highest Covid death rates in the world, and confine themselves to just two venues for the entire eight-week duration of their tour.After an initial month in Manchester, where their extended 25-man squad lived and trained on-site, including two intra-squad warm-up matches, the players travelled to Southampton for the first Test, then straight back to Manchester thereafter. But in these trying times only England, Australia and India can probably host cricket. Despite the hardships of the bio-secure arrangements, Holder said that one undoubted positive had been the opportunity for West Indies to train among themselves in an enlarged squad, especially given how little opportunity the players have had in recent seasons to take part in the regional first-class competition.”I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the experience,” said Holder. “It’s the first time I’ve had the opportunity to mingle with, more or less, the A-team players, because I haven’t played much first-class cricket in the last couple of years.”It just shows you that we need more of these environments in West Indies cricket. I’m not sure right now if Cricket West Indies could afford to have an academy, or something similar to Loughborough here in England, but that is definitely something that would help CWI.”But the beauty of having 25 players on tour is that we had pretty intense sessions,” he added. “Intensity was definitely at a height in practice, and the guys had the opportunity come over here and learn.”We need more of these programmes in the Caribbean, but again, it all boils down to finance. We are having a massive difficulty in trying to fund our cricket, from every single age group level to Under-18 programmes and development programmes and we pretty much only gain from hosting England.”Asked if there was anything in the short term that West Indies could do to improve their fortunes, particularly with regard to first-class opportunities for the likes of Shai Hope, who has not played domestically for three years and struggled to a top score of 31 in six innings, Holder was blunt.”I don’t think there’s anything more that can be done,” he said. “We don’t have the bargaining power to dictate where and when we can play series. There’s a Future Tours Programme in place, so we’ve got to make sure that we are strategic and plan our cricket in the best possible way.”I particularly am a perfect example of our system, where I haven’t had the opportunity to play much first-class cricket. This year was the first first-class game I’ve played for couple of years. And I’m the captain of the West Indies cricket team.”It is what it is. We’ve just got to find creative ways to keep pumping money into our development programmes so we can see more people like Jermaine Blackwood having an opportunity to play first-class cricket, and having a franchise system that can harness and develop that talent. At the moment, a lot of our franchises rely solely on financial distributions from Cricket West Indies. None of them can stand on their own.

Em quase dois anos de serviços prestados ao clube de Minas Gerais, o dirigente comandou as categorias de base no período onde a equipe conquistou o Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 e revelou diversos jogadores que foram aproveitados no elenco profissional.

Durante o processo, Chávare foi responsável pelo DNA Alvinegro, projeto para desenvolver atletas do Sub-14 ao Sub-20. O programa consistia em trabalhar os jogadores não só com questões táticas, mas desenvolver aspectos sociais, técnicos, fisiológicos, nutricionais e psicológicos.

– Foram mais de 20 meses de trabalho, tenho um carinho enorme pelo Atlético-MG, o título nacional foi uma consequência do projeto bem-sucedido. Durante a minha passagem, também trabalhei na equipe principal, em parceria com o Alexandre Mattos, na etapa de transição dos meninos para o futebol profissional. É uma satisfação enorme observar jogadores como Calebe, Júlio César, Micael, Echaporã e vários outros atletas que lapidamos sendo aproveitados em um alto nível competitivo – destaca Chávare.

No Bahia, o profissional iniciou sua carreira na gestão da categoria principal. Em pouco tempo de trabalho, o dirigente viu o Esquadrão conquistar a Copa do Nordeste e começou uma campanha promissora no Campeonato Brasileiro. Além disso, colocou em prática diversos conceitos no time de transição do clube baiano vendo como fruto im dos destaques do projeto, o goleiro Matheus Teixeira, ser nome que saiu da equipe Sub-23 para assumir a posição no time principal.

– A integração do time de transição com o elenco principal está nos ajudando a revelar grandes atletas e suprir as necessidades do treinador. Sempre buscamos boas oportunidades no mercado e conseguimos trazer jogadores de qualidade para reforçar o elenco – afirmou o gerente de futebol.

Primeiro tempo

Nos primeiros minutos, o Corinthians se manteve no campo de ataque e procurava espaços para concluir as jogadas diante da Portuguesa. Aos 20, Giovane chegou bem na área e finalizou. A bola tirou tinta da trave e no rebote Juan David buscou a conclusão, mas a defesa apareceu para afastar o perigo.

Aos 29, Leo Santos tocou para Giovane subir em velocidade pela esquerda e cruzar para a área buscando um de seus companheiros. Juan se aproximava do lance mas a zaga adversária se antecipou.

Antes do fim da primeira etapa, aos 43, Matheus Araújo finalizou de fora da área e o chute passou muito perto do gol adversário.

Segundo tempo

O Corinthians voltou pressionando pelo gol. Aos 5, Leo Santos cruzou e do outro lado Rodrigo Daniel apareceu para finalizar por cima da meta adversária. Na sequência, novamente Leo Santos saiu cara a cara com o goleiro da Portuguesa, mas o adversário ficou com a bola.

Quando o cronômetro marcava oito minutos, o Timão chegou ao gol para a abrir o placar, quando Rodrigo Daniel acionou Matheus Araújo que mandou no fundo da rede: Corinthians 1 a 0. Na sequência, Anderson chegou tocando rasteiro para Matheus finalizar. No rebote, Juan David mandou por cima do gol.

O próximo compromisso do Timãozinho será pelo Campeonato Brasileiro sub-20, neste domingo, diante do Palmeiras. O clássico será disputado no Parque São Jorge, às 16h05, com transmissão da Band.

Pelo Paulista, o sub-20 volta a atuar no dia 11 de agosto (quarta-feira), diante do Nacional, às 15 horas, no Parque São Jorge.

وقال القيعي خلال تصريحات عبر قناة “الأهلي” لبرنامج “ملك وكتابة”: “ميدو أنت قدوة، وهذا الحديث قد يُقبل من أشخاص آخرين، النموذجان اللذان قالا هذا الأمر لم يفنيا عمرهما في نادي الزمالك، هناك لاعبين آخرين أفنوا عمرهم في النادي ولم يقولوا هذا الكلام”.

وأضاف: “هذا الكلام قد يكون واقعيًا، لكن ليس من اللائق أن يُقال، أنت تخاطب مُجتمع تعلمه الأصول، مشاعرك ليس من المفترض أن تظهر عليك”.

وواصل: “سؤال (هل ستشجع الأهلي؟) سمج، والإجابة غريبة من بعض النماذج القدوة التي تُناقض نفسها، هذه ظاهرة انتشرت وهي المتاجرة بالكراهية”.

وتابع: “هذه الشرارة أطلقها لاعب أراد أن يكون متواجدًا على السطح الإعلامي، وهو لم يلعب في الزمالك إلا سنة، قال أنا أكره الأهلي ولن أشجعه ولا أتمنى له الفوز وهو لا يمثل مصر، فهذا يكون مع الجماهير، فهل أنت كـ نجم تفعل مثله؟!”.

وأتم: “أنا عندما التقيت مع ميدو في أحد البرامج الإعلامية، قلت لماذا أتيتم لي بإثنين؟، الأول أحمد حسام ميدو الفاهم والعارف والذي يقول كلام الناس تتعلم منه، والثاني أحمد حسام الذي حين يتذكر أن وراءه جمهور يريد أن يلاغيه ويفقد الموضوعية والرصانة”.

Celtic are also providing competition for the midfielder's services, so there could be an auction for his signature, following a tough spell on loan at West Ham last season.

FK Radnicki goalkeeper Stojan Lekovic has also emerged as a transfer target for the Scottish giants, with the towering 6 foot 6 stopper making 61 appearances for his current club, and representing a long-term option at 22 years of age.

Godoy Cruz left-back Thomas Galdames could join Rangers as a replacement for Borna Barisic, too, having reportedly played his final game for his team, and he spoke about his future last week ahead of Copa America duty with Chile, saying: "The transfer market begins now, but I have to concentrate on the national team. If I do get a transfer, it needs to be something that will be good for my career. That's what I have been working for since the day I became a footballer."

Rangers want "highly-rated" Premier League player

According to Falk on X, "Rangers are interested in highly-rated Arsenal defender Reuell Walters" this summer, with the 19-year-old expected to depart the Emirates before next season gets underway after rejecting a new deal.

In his report for The Scotsman, the journalist adds that the youngster "already posted his goodbyes via social media and was given well wishes by the likes of Declan Rice and William Saliba", suggesting that he was held in high regard at the north London giants.

Walters could be an exciting addition for Rangers, even though he is still such a young player who is lacking experience at the top level. He will have learned so much from training alongside some world-class players at Arsenal, with Oleksandr Zinchenko heaping praise on him.

"I like so much centre-back Reuell. I think the qualities he has, he is aggressive. I swear to God, one time he pushed Gabriel Jesus in a shoulder-to-shoulder. It is not easy to push Gabriel because he is very strong, and he was confident on the ball afterwards, he kept the ball well and passed. Wow. He impresses me I think the most."

Walters has been capped by England at Under-20, Under-19 and Under-18 level, making a combined nine appearances for his country, and the fact that he can shine at centre-back, right-back and in midfield would make him a versatile option for Clement for years to come.

Access to the golf course has been one of the few activities available to the players inside the bubbles away from the cycle of hotel room, training and playing.Finch said that there would be conversations with the squad about all the protocols in place ahead of their departure and how to ensure everything is followed to the letter but knowing the consequences should be enough of a reminder.”What’s important to remember is we are in a position to help continue the global game,” Finch said. “And there should be no more motivation than that to do everything right.”I’ve been very strong with the guys in the last couple of weeks about making sure that we do literally everything we can with regards to the protocols to keep the global game going.
