A vitória do Fluminense sobre o Macaé, na última terça-feira, tirou o Alvinegro do pelotão dos quatro primeiros colocados do torneio, que dá vaga para as semifinais. A equipe comandada por Marcelo Chamusca terminou na quinta colocação.
A diferença do Alvinegro para o Tricolor, primeiro clube no G4, é de dois pontos – 13 para onze. Na próxima rodada, o Botafogo mede forças com o Volta Redonda, vice-líder com 19 pontos, mesma quantidade do Flamengo, que está na ponta da tabela.
As contas envolvem vencer o Voltaço na partida do próximo sábado e secar para tropeços de Fluminense e/ou Portuguesa que enfrentam, respectivamente, Nova Iguaçu e Bangu.
O empate por 1 a 1 diante da Portuguesa, portanto, pode acabar fazendo falta para o Botafogo. O Alvinegro, vale lembrar, teve um jogador a mais durante todo o segundo tempo e, mesmo assim, levou o empate da equipe da Ilha do Governador.

Those at Parkhead and Brendan Rodgers are focusing on a Scottish Premiership battle with Rangers currently, but attention will also be on bringing in new faces this summer.
Charlton Athletic youngster Patrick Casey is one individual who has been linked with a move to Parkhead in recent days, with the 18-year-old an attacker presumably one for the future.
Youth does seem to be an avenue that Celtic are going down currently, with Manchester United teenager Adam Berry another young starlet who is believed to be of interest to the Hoops.
Once the summer arrives, it is imperative that some significant business is done, however, with established players also coming in, and it looks as though that could be the case.

According to an exciting fresh claim from Football Insider, Celtic want to spend a "huge sum" on a player at the end of their season, looking to smash their transfer record – the £9m paid for Odsonne Edouard in 2018.

The report also mentions that Celtic recently "announced revenue of £120million in their 2022-23 accounts, including £40million in profit and £67million stashed in the bank", which could pave the way for a big-money addition.
While no specific target is mentioned when it comes to how this money could be spent, it is encouraging to hear that the Hoops are willing to break the bank for a new face.
With Rangers looking strong again this season, it is going to be vital for Celtic to keep improving as a side – some could argue that they have had things too easy in the league in recent years – and it will be fascinating to see which areas they look to bolster.
A top-quality striker is something that can be priceless for any side, so it would be great to see Rodgers look for an elite attacking ace, considering attacking midfielder Matt O'Riley is the only player to have reached double figures in the league so far this season.

Robson Nascimento desembarcou no Rio de Janeiro na quarta-feira. A liberação era esperada há um mês e dependia de uma assinatura do presidente russo Vladimir Putin. O pedido havia passado por uma comissão regional e pelo prefeito de Moscou antes de chegar nas mãos da entidade máxima do país.
Em março de 2019, Robson Oliveira embarcou para a Rússia para trabalhar com o jogador Fernando, que na época defendia o Spartak de Moscou. Em sua mala, carregava caixas de Mytedon, medicamento legalizado no Brasil, porém proibido pela jurisdição russa. Segundo ele, os remédios eram para o sogro do atleta, William Pereira de Faria. Entretanto, Fernando e familiares não confirmaram a versão.
Enquanto o meia se transferia para o futebol chinês, Robson permaneceu preso na Rússia. A questão trouxe visibilidade para o tema, e contou com a ajuda de jogadores antes de chegar ao presidente do Brasil. Diante do cenário, o caso tornou-se motivo de negociação diplomática.
As tratativas iniciais pautaram a transferência do motorista para um presídio no Brasil, onde cumpriria sua pena. Todavia, o pedido de perdão foi uma novidade surgida após a sentença condenatória de três anos, considerada baixa, uma vez que Robson era julgado por tráfico de drogas e contrabando.

وحول إمكانية وضع الشعار على قميص تدريبات الزمالك؟، أوضح: “المساحة هذه جعلت الشعار يتردد وممكن الفكرة تطبق، لأن الشعار ارتبط بنادي الزمالك، هو رقى نفسه و(جاب زبونه)”.
وأضاف: “السوبر الإفريقي خدم بطولة كأس السوبر المصري هذا الموسم، النسخة الماضية من السوبر المصري كان هناك غياب للجماهير بسبب عدم مشاركة الزمالك، ولا أعتقد أن الأهلي استمتع بالبطولة بسبب غياب الزمالك”.
وتابع: “الناس خلطت بين لجنة الكرة ومجلس الإدارة، الكابتن حسين السيد معه ملفات قطاع الناشئين ولا يتأخر في أي شيء”.
واختتم: “ليس معنى أنه غير موجود في لجنة الكرة أنه بعيد عن ملف الكرة، بل على العكس يقوم بدور كبير”.
Newcastle United have rapidly progressed in a short space of time on and off the pitch thanks to the takeover completed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) in 2021.
The takeover allowed the Magpies to become one of the richest clubs in the world, with the new owners investing a huge sum of money into improving the playing squad.
The PIF's huge investment allowed the club to pull clear of any looming threat of relegation in 2021/22 with Eddie Howe doing a tremendous job in maintaining the club's Premier League status.

He's since transformed the squad thanks to the investment, with the likes of Sven Botman, Harvey Barnes and Kieran Trippier all vastly improving the Magpies' squad.
One of the new arrivals has also been a worthwhile investment, to the point where he's filled the boots of Allan Saint-Maximin.

Winger Saint-Maximin will always be remembered for the impact he had on Newcastle's side during their tumultuous period on and off the pitch.
For years, the club wanted owner Mike Ashley out of the club, with his lack of investment the driving factor. However, the former owner splashed £16.5m on the Frenchman, with Saint-Maximin providing real excitement with his direct dribbling ability.
He enjoyed four years at St James' Park before leaving the club to move to Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia for £23m – with the club making a £6.5m profit on the attacker.
Since the move, Saint-Maximin has proved to be money well spent for the Pro League side, with the 26-year-old scoring four and assisting nine goals within his first 21 appearances for the club.
All Newcastle fans will be happy to see a former fan-favourite finding his feet at his new club. However, the fanbase will also be delighted that the club have found an upgrade on the Frenchman, with the club's current left-winger achieving more goal contributions this season.

After his £45m arrival from Everton in January 2023, Anthony Gordon took a little while to settle into life on Tyneside, with the 23-year-old and the Magpies supporters now seeing what he's capable of.
During his first six months at St James' Park, the winger only managed one goal. However, he's taken his game to the next level under Howe this season – with his stats astronomically different from last campaign.

In his 26 Premier League outings this season, Gordon has notched nine goals and six assists, with the 23-year-old currently enjoying the best season of his professional career.
Although he's been impressive this season, the English winger, who's been backed by boss Howe to be "unbelievable", still has the potential to be a world-class winger in the future.

After a difficult start to life at the club, he's currently excelling, with the winger currently keeping the talented Harvey Barnes out of the starting lineup.
It's clear Gordon has the backing of Howe to develop at the club, with the 23-year-old potentially making the club a hefty profit in the years to come.
