The Red Devils are set for a busy few months both on and off the pitch, with Erik ten Hag’s side pushing for a top-four finish and more silverware in the FA Cup and Europa League after lifting the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.

An Old Trafford takeover also appears to be a possibility, with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe submitting revised offers last month to take control from the Glazers. Jassim previously wanted 'things done quickly' so he could help Ten Hag in the transfer market, with reports last month suggesting he is a ‘huge fan’ of Bellingham and is plotting a stunning United move.

Talking to GiveMeSport, Jones feels that a takeover at Old Trafford could help them in a potential move for Bellingham, however, he also cited the time Bellingham turned down a move to Manchester in favour of heading to Germany.

"I think a takeover would make it more possible and they could come back into the Bellingham conversation a bit stronger. But the fact is Bellingham already had the chance to join Man United once, and he didn't take it? Maybe he feels more ready for that now, certainly could be that.”

Do Man United have a chance to sign Bellingham?

Fabrizio Romano stated last month that United's current board weren’t actively working on signing Bellingham this summer, so a takeover may have to go through relatively quickly in order for the Red Devils to have a chance of a potential deal.

That’s because there is plenty of competition for the 19-year-old’s services, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid all feeling they have put compelling cases forward for Bellingham to join them. Dortmund will also reportedly only consider selling for a club-record fee in excess of €144m (£126m), which would smash the current transfer record at Old Trafford.

Bellingham has been hailed as a "superstar" by former United captain Roy Keane, and with Ten Hag after a midfielder and forward this summer, securing a move for Bellingham would surely make Jassim a popular man in Manchester straightaway. A lot needs to happen, though, but it appears as if there may be a chance to sign the England international, providing Jassim manages to strike a deal with the Glazers over the coming months.

وأضاف: “نحن نعرف نوعية اللاعب الذي هو عليه، هو يعاني من إصابة كبيرة، لقد قضيت الكثير خلال هذه الفترة مع توماس وأتعامل أيضًا مع الطاقم الطبي في نادي آرسنال”.

وواصل: “سوف يتعاملون مع هذه الإصابة بحذر، وكذلك اللاعب، هذه إصابة كبيرة بالنسبة له وأكبر إصابة تعرض لها”.

وأكد: “الشيء الأكثر أهمية بالنسبة لي كمدرب للمنتخب واتحادنا هو منحه الدعم الذي يحتاجه خلال هذه الفترة الزمنية”.

وأردف: “بالنظر إلى جميع المعلومات التي حصلنا عليها، فإن الجداول الزمنية للتعافي والحذر الذي سيتم اتخاذه، لن تتوافق مع جداولنا الزمنية لكأس الأمم الإفريقية”.

الجدير بالذكر أن منتخب غانا يتواجد في المجموعة الثانية، إلى جانب مصر، الرأس الأخضر وموزمبيق.

Chelsea have endured a woeful 2022/23 campaign which has seen them manage just 30 goals in 31 Premier League games, with a bottom-half finish now looking likely under interim manager Frank Lampard.

The lack of goals at Stamford Bridge could be due to a number of factors but fingers have naturally been pointed at Kai Havertz, as the German forward has once again struggled for consistency in a Chelsea shirt.

Is Havertz to blame for Chelsea's goalscoring woes?

The 23-year-old may well be the top scorer in Chelsea's squad so far this season but he has just seven top-flight goals to his name in 29 Premier League outings and would have been expected to score far more given his role as the main striker for the west London outfit.

Havertz, who earns £150k-per-week, arrived at Chelsea in 2020 in an eye-watering deal worth £75.8m, having contributed an impressive 46 goals and 31 assists in 150 appearances for Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

His time at Stamford Bridge has been far less fruitful, as he boasts just 32 goals and 15 assists in 132 appearances, despite moving from an attacking midfield role to a central striker role with the west London club.

This campaign has seen the Germany international underperform on his xG by 4.52, which is comfortably the worst return of his career, and perhaps explains why he has been left out by the interim boss in recent fixtures.

How much is Havertz worth now?

In a recent interview with Football FanCast, Simon Phillips speculated that, if Chelsea were to try and sell the 23-year-old on the back of another disappointing campaign, they would get nowhere near the price they paid.

He said: "When he's poor, he's poor. He will go through a run of five, six, or seven games where he will be very poor. He's far too inconsistent really.

"In terms of how much he's worth, I think he's got a market value of around £50m, but I think Chelsea would be very lucky to get that this summer."

Todd Boehly has obviously invested a huge amount since arriving at Chelsea and has failed to see the results on the pitch, which suggests that a number of first-team players could be moved on this summer ahead of the arrival of a prospective new manager.

Unless Havertz can pick up his form in the remaining fixtures, having managed just five goals in 20 appearances since the World Cup, then he could be a prime candidate to depart, even if it means the Blues making a significant loss on him.

The Saints boss had revealed that he was expecting the 26-year-old to be targeting a return at the end of April, and it sounds like his timeframe was spot on.

Speaking during his Wednesday pre-match press conference, Selles confirmed that Adams is firmly in contention to face the Cherries after returning to training, whilst also providing an update on four other players.

As quoted by Southampton’s official website, he said: “We have Juan Larios, Mohammed Salisu and Tino Livramento who are not selectable. Che Adams is selectable and available for the game tomorrow. We have Jan Bednarek who has followed concussion protocol and that will end tonight at midnight, tomorrow we’ll re-evaluate him.”

Everton midfielder Dele Alli will struggle to have a future at Goodison Park under manager Sean Dyche, says Daily Express reporter Ryan Taylor.

As per BBC Sport, Alli sustained a hip injury on loan at Besiktas that cut his deal short and has since returned to his parent club Everton to commence his recovery.

The report alludes to a recent controversy surrounding the 27-year-old, who has had his struggles in recent years across a number of different clubs.

Toffees boss Dyche has spoken about his injury and off-field reports, stating: “He is not here. He has an injury which will keep him out for some time. Some of the stuff reported – they know what they should and shouldn’t be doing.

“As a manager, you cannot control everything in their lives. Should we be following them all day? You can only guide them. He has an injury which will take a while to sort out – it will be a number of weeks.”

During his time in Turkey, the Milton Keynes-born star netted three times in 15 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions, as per Transfermarkt.

The Daily Mail report that Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Cebi is open to bringing Alli back to the Vodafone Stadium this summer if Everton are willing to let the once-hailed “genius” leave on a free transfer.

Daily Express journalist Taylor has suggested that Alli may not be a suitable fit for Dyche’s tactical framework.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Taylor said: I think it’s unlikely purely because of Dyche. Generally, is Dele a Dyche player? No. Dyche likes runners, he likes hard workers, Dele is a bit of a luxury player.

“That said, I’m not keen to jump in on the pile-on on Dele. Yes, he had the world at his feet, and yes, he should be doing more, he should be delivering, he shouldn’t be getting involved in the antics off the pitch.

“But, ultimately, we don’t truly know what he’s gone through. He may struggle mentally. When you’ve been at the top of the mountain and you fall down, you seem like a failure. I do feel an element of sadness about how his career has dropped off.”

Is there a way back for Dele Alli at Goodison Park?

It’s hard to tell at this point, though Everton could use a creative midfield presence heading into next season, which is something Alli can provide when on form.

Nevertheless, he hasn’t performed at a consistent level anywhere for quite some time now and Dyche may prefer to try and offload him in the summer if a suitable offer comes along for his services.

Media coverage surrounding the midfielder also hasn’t helped his cause; however, it would be best for everyone to focus purely on footballing matters involving Alli as he steps up his recovery from injury.

Come pre-season, we may get a better idea of what the future may hold for the £100k-a-week ace and whether he will still be at Everton or have moved on to new pastures.

However, if the Toffees are to go down, perhaps this offers the out-of-form midfielder an opportunity at getting his career back on track if he was open to playing in the second-tier.
